Vetta 2 and MIDI... 26-11-2006 These are the Vetta II parameters that are currently able to be controlled via MIDI Continuous Controllers. Also be aware that some of these MIDI messages have already been explained in detail in the back of the owner's manual. And of course, MIDI Program Change messages have always been a feature of the Vetta I and II.
* = the same exclusivity/interaction rules as from the front panel and FBX apply
* = DSP smoothing is employed on these parameters

How to connect your POD xx series to one or two Atomics... 24-11-2006 Connecting your PODxt (Live) to 1 or 2 Atomics...
Modelers, like the Line 6 POD series can be used in conjuction with the Atomic Reactor 112. The Atomic Reactor 112 is an amplifier "without an opinion". This means it's designed to not colour or equalize the signal coming from your modeler. However, it "de-digitizes" the signal to create that coveted analog sound. Atomic states that unlike other amps that use modeling front-ends, the Reactor 112 has real presence. The sound transcends the box that generates ot. It fills the room as only a well-enigineered tube amp can. You can plug your guitar in at the left top side when you're using a modeler in the DS1 Docking Station. If you are working with a floorboard modeler you can use the FX Return on the back of the Atomic. An effects loop is an insertionpoint between the amp's Preamp and Poweramp and normally used for effects. Since the Atomic has no Preamp (that's your modeler), the FX Return on the back is a direct connection to the Power Amp.
Here's how to connect your PODxt Live or other floorboard modeler to one or two Atomics. From the PODxt Live connect your Left Mono Out to go into the FX Return on the back of the Atomic. If you rhave 2 Atomics, go into the FX return of each Atomic, the one being the Left channel out on your PODxt Live and the other the Right Channel out. When you are using 2 Atomics with the PODxt (not Live), you chain from FX Right Send from Atomic nr. 1 to FX Return of Atomic nr. 2. more info Source: vettaville.nl
Patches - Bundle Barn - Atomic - POD xt Bundle... 22-11-2006
We've always treasered the tone craftmanship of Andy Z, the webmaster of The Institute of Noise Forum. He's also a recording enigineer and a hell of a guitarplayer. With his background and ears he makes quality patches that are up at his ION patch database and some of them are at Vettaville.nl as bundles. He retweaked some patches for use with the Atomic 112 amp as a result of the PODxt V 3.01 upgrade. If you want just grab, unzip and upload them to your PODxt. If you 'see' Andy over at ION be sure to thank him. more info Source: Andy Z / vettaville.nl
Patches - Bundle Barn - Workbench Patch Creativity Bundle... 14-11-2006
Recently we uploaded a small video of the a Strat and Tele sound achieved with the creative use of the Workbench program. In the Bundle that was created there are different guitars created, in a different way. Don't be fooled by what you see when you look at the Workbench program but listen... The Bundle was created by Ron Huisen, Line 6's productspecialist, and he offered it to Vettaville.nl for further worldwide distribution. So when you see him, be sure to thank him! There will be other clips of the some of the other guitars inside the bundle soon. Do something nice and compare this bundle with the factory bundle, soundwise... Have fun and a good weekend. This clip was taken during the Line 6 User Group Meeting in Germany, earlier this month. Don't get distracted by what you see..., listen... more info Source: Line 6 / vettaville.nl
Patches - Bundle Barn - The Barn is open... 12-11-2006
Many Line 6 gear users have been making patches and swapping them around for personal use. Creating patches and adjusting them to your own standard of quality involves creating, altering, listening, adjusting etc. As an extended service, Vettaville.nl offers a place to have those bundles in one place with some additional info on the contents of the bundle. The purpose of the Bundle Barn is to have one place on the net where you can easily download these bundles and check them for yourself. Of course your musical preferences will also decide what kind of bundle(s) you are looking for. You can alter your own bundle or get new ideas from the downloaded bundle(s). If a bundle is offered please include as much as info on what you made it with as you possible. What guitar was used, what Line 6 gear the bundle is made with, what softwareversion number, the general idea of the bundle, the kind of music that you generally play. If the bundle is made with Variax Workbench you can do the same of course. Feel free to offer your bundle for upload here and sent it through the emaillink at the top of the page. Don't forget to get your name in that you want displayed here as a reference. The bundles are not altered or checked by vettaville.nl so use them and qualify for yourself With this all being said... The Bundle Barn is now officially opened. So start sending in new bundles... more info Source: vettaville.nl

Variax Wireless and Vetta - A guide to Wireless Communication... 01-11-2006
In the latest Vetta II update, Version 2.5, a new unplublicized feature was added at request of some high profile artists. This feature allows a Vetta II ampliflier to cummunicate with a Variax guitar wirelessly with some special cables, an off the shelff MIDI wireless system and an audio wireless system.
If this is what you would like to experiment with please read on. Wireless communication between a Vetta and a Variax falls into the category of an "unsupported, use at your own risk" feature. (it's a category of one!) Note: There is no intension on Line 6's part to offer a commercial solution for wireless communication between Vetta II and Variax guitar, however in the spirit of supporting the needs of our community Line 6 decided to share this bit of information with you. While a VDI cable provides bi-directional communication between a Vetta and a Variax, the wireless link described on these pages and document provides one-way communication from Vetta to the Variax. This solution simply transmits Guitar Model patch change data, as well as tone pot data to the Variax, as they were programmed into the Vetta's patches, which must be done with a Variax connected to a Vetta with a VDI cable.
How / Why it works: When the Variax is physically connected to the Vetta via the VDI cable, the Vetta reconfigures to accept digital audio and digital audio sync from the VDI interface. Vetta also recieved patch, patch name and tone pot information from the guitar whenever somthing is changed, that way it can store and recall the appropriate Variax information within it's own patch structure. Variax W/L (wireless) mode allows the Vetta to operate, (internal sync, analog input) without the Variax connected to the VDI connector, howver it still send the Variax patch information out via the VDI connector whenever a Vetta patch is recalled.
Programming patches for use in the Variax W/L mode:
How to set up your Vetta II and a Variax Guitar to operate wirelessly. First you're going to need some things to get this all together. Here's a shopping list:
Tech instructions: Build the cables, mark the Vetta side cable with the extra electronic components: Vetta, mark the Variax Cable as well. The cables are not revirsible, so please mark them to avoid confusion at critical moments in your performing career.
Click on the pictures to enlarge Putting it all together:
So there you have it, everything you'll need to get your Vetta / Variax rig up and running wireless at a gig. Note: This is an "unsupported" feature in Vetta, and yet it is something Line 6 wanted to share with the Vetta community. A great source for advanced Vetta capabillities is the Vetta community that largely resides on the Line 6 forums, Institute of Noise and Vettaville.com and Vettaville.nl sites. Thanks go out to Line 6 for going the extra mile on this one. Oh, and you want a .pdf to make your personal wireless system, no worries, just click here to download
