FloorPOD - Shipping News... 21-09-2006

Line 6 is shipping the FloorPOD now that was announced some weeks ago. Floor POD can be used as a simple multi-effect pedal for any guitar amp, a complete direct to PA and recording tone solution, or the ultimate headphone practice partner at home. “For the beginning guitarist, having the sounds of their favorite artists has traditionally presented a huge financial barrier,” explained Tom Edwards, Product Manager, Line 6. “Now with our low-cost Floor POD, truly inspiring sounds are within reach of any aspiring guitarist.” Inside the modern black exterior of Floor POD live 12 of the most desired amp and cab models from the critically acclaimed POD® 2.0, including the popular Insane model.

Line 6’s Smart Control FX (7 types, 2 simultaneous) include Phaser, Chorus, Flanger, Tremolo, Delay, and Reverb – all effects can be easily tweaked and delay times can be adjusted using tap tempo. When it’s time to solo, users can instantly turn up and unleash using the built-in Volume/Wah pedal. Floor POD also features 64 custom-made presets, 3 footswitches for preset select and effect on/off, on board tuner, CD/MP3/iPod input jack for jamming, headphone jack, stereo 1/4-inch outs, chrome knobs, and a heavy duty chrome handlebar for the guitarist on the go. License keys transfers enabled... 13-09-2006

License key transfers are now live. Just log in to your line6.com account and you'll notice two new items in the box on the left - "License Keys" and "Transfer License Keys". "License Keys" gives you a list of all your license keys and where they are currently residing. "Transfer License Keys" gives instructions.

There is no limitation on how many times you can transfer licenses. If you want, you could just bouncing a license back and forth between two units as much as you like.

First picture of new Atomic Family... 01-09-2006

Atomic Amplifiers is excited to announce two additions to its Reactor Series line of guitar amplifiers - The Reactor 112-50 and Reactor 212. These products build on the success of the Company’s debut, the Reactor 112, by offering almost 3x more power for guitarists who demand extreme volume and headroom while maintaining or exceeding the sonic reputation earned by their predecessor.

Well here' a first unofficial picture of the whole family together. Thanks to Atomic Amps and distribution partner for making it possible. On the right the Atomic Reactor 112 - 18 watt version, in the back the 212-50 watt and on the left front the new 112-50 watt. Geez that one looks nice with it's kinda voxy look.

The Harry Kolbe designed, all-tube, Reactor 212 and 112-50 both boast a 50W, 6L6 based, class A/B power amp. Their birch plywood cabinets are tuned/ported and loaded with 12” Eminence speakers specially designed to Atomic’s specifications.
