In two weeks Musikmesse Frankfurt will open it's doors once again. Being the biggest musical instruments fair in the world, it's the place to be. The fair will be held from March 24 until March 27th. portable Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) device, and Planet Waves
Rig Remote™ iPhone software for use with Apple iPhone and IPod "With the MIDI Mobilizer, the iPhone becomes the most portable and versatile editor and tone storage device for your Line 6 gear," remarked Marcus Ryle, Line 6 co-founder and SVP of research and development as he demonstrated a prototype this morning at Apple Inc.'s annual Worldwide Developers Conference. "Finding the perfect tone has never been easier." When used with Rig Remote, the forthcoming iPhone app from musical-instrument company Planet Waves, MIDI Mobilizer gives guitarists the freedom to control Line 6 Variax® digital modeling guitars and Vetta™ II digital modeling amplifiers. Digital modeling technology, which was pioneered by Line 6, makes it "possible to put the sounds of hundreds of amps, guitars and effects into one system," stated Ryle. Digital modeling "greatly simplifies the amount of gear needed for a guitarist to play a wide range of sounds." Line 6 Variax guitars accurately model the distinctive sounds of 25 celebrated instruments including electric and acoustic guitars, a banjo and even an electric sitar. Line 6 Vetta II amplifiers feature models of 80 guitar amplifiers, over 80 effects, and more. All models can be controlled with Rig Remote and adjusted in real-time via its realistic, amp-panel-inspired knobs.
Planet Waves' Rig Remote app features an attractive graphical display that takes a nod from the Line 6 software commonly used to adjust Variax and Vetta II tones via personal computer. The iPhone display and touch screen make it simple to scroll, choose and adjust models of amps, guitars, pickups, pickup placement, alternate tuning and more. Guitarists can easily save their favorite settings and apply them to any Variax guitar or Vetta II amplifier. We've just sent out our newsletter to all subscribers. The newsletter explained the changes taking place at Vettaville.nl and what is to be expected in the near future. Topics covered in this issue include: Line 6 continued succes, Marcus Ryle InVettagation, Frankfurter Messe, Vettaville etc..

Winter Namm will open it's doors from January 17th to 20th 2008 at teh Anaheim Convention Center in Los Angeles. The biggest American music show is for trade only and will offer the latest news from the music insdustry. Line 6 will be at booth : 203 A at Level 2. Stay Tuned!

Vettaville.nl has rapidly developed from a small insignificant website to a much quoted valuable source of information with daily based info that enhances your Line 6 gear user experience. Thanks to you, the thousands of visitors worldwide, visiting on regular basis. During the past months we recieved several requests for a newsletter service since not everyone has the time to visit everyday. After the release of the Vetta V 2.5 update there have been different topics requesting information about current available products. Just to be clear. It is against Line 6's company policy to give out any information on any products current or future. Line 6 does not discuss current or future product direction on the boards. The growth of Vettaville users is becoming bigger and every month I exeed last months record, giving me more bills to pay if I don't try to get it within a certain limit. As always everyone is free to donate to Vettaville, but things that are free don't seem to have people think about costs for downloadtraffic.

Vettaville.nl - Independence and Donations... 01-05-2004
Yesterday Vettaville.nl has reached a (small) first milestone. Another one will be reached in a few days. This all thanks to you. With you I mean the visitors of Vettaville.nl. Thanks the original idea of Nathan Shane (creator of Vettaville.com), Vettaville.nl was created when I asked permission to do the same for the Dutch people with the initial intend just to translate the pages. Since the day vettaville.nl was registered it began to develop in regards to a small number of visitors. Now some 9 months later I think it's fair to say that it has grown in size, visitors and download-numbers and -traffic. This is good and I thank you all that come here and will continue to welcome you. That what stated as personal webpage (and it still is) has grown to be beakon of information on Line 6 related gear en news on a daily basis. The flipside of this growth is that your appetite for info is exeeding my budget. I know every hobby has it's costs but in these 9 months I subsribed to three different packages to handle the ('till now) constantly growing demand of datatraffic and everytime I'm exceeding it and now are getting fined for it. This is oke (for now), because I'm the one that's giving the oppertunity and it's rewarding to see that the numbers are increasing rapidly. I see it as the reward of the performance I supply... I'm guessing here; but one of the cornerstones of the growth is the independance that Vettaville.nl has and values. With the current growth, and prices of datatraffic, travelingcosts for meetings, software, etc.. I can no longer supply the same service with ever growing demand of info and will be forced to cut back on behalf of the situation. I'm just trying to figure out a way to have a solution that works best for all without loosing independence. Maybe a way of doing this is to have an account opened were visitors can donate money for the sole benefit of Vettaville.nl. If you would choose to do so, and you are not forced in any way just a kind request, I can't give you anything in return other than a thank you email or if we should meet an personal handshake, of course the same service provided here at Vettaville.n as you've grown to value. If you choose to donate, you state that you value the services of Vettaville.nl and wish it a good future for all the visitors. For the European visitors I have a solution (see bank account info at the bottom of the item) for the other parts of the world you can use the pay pal button on the right top of the screen of every page.
