Software - Jam2Wav Utillity V.1.... 23-02-2009
Joe Gillespie has made a utillity that converts .Jam files to .WAV files and is available for free.
A .JAM file written by a Spider Jam or JM4 Looper contains a recording and all its associated settings. It can only be used by one of these devices. Although you can save all your recordings to an SD card at once, as JAM files, WAV files can only be saved one at a time. Consequently, I have written a simple little application that converts .JAM files to .WAV files either individually or in batches. All you have to do is drag your JAM file(s) onto the program window and it
converts them instantly.
Please note: This software has not been developed by Line 6 and is not sanctioned by Line 6. This software is distributed as freeware. There is no garantee with this software.
Note: The Windows version of Jam2Wav is inside a folder along with some necessary .DLL files. Don't move either out of the containing folder. Keep them all together. By default, the WAV files are saved to the same location as the JAM files but there is an option under the Preferences menu that makes a save dialog box open so that you can save them elsewhere. Another option in Preferences just checks that when you save a file manually, that you retain the 8.3 character filename format required by the Spider Jam and JM4. This is switched on by default. New in version 1.01. Added an option for batch saving where you are only asked for the save location for the first file - the rest go in the same place. Fixed the ability to drag and drop the WAV files into other Mac apps like GarageBand. Thanks go out to Joe Gillespie who has made this utillity availble. He also has a wonderfull blog on the internet. Feel free to visit there and thank him for making Jam2Wav possible.

Software - VBoard V 3.1 for Vetta II... 28-12-2004
VBoard 3.1 Overzicht
Vetta II Patch Editing/SYSEX Send/Save Software created by Gary Lee
Disclaimer
This software has not been developed by Line6 Corporation. It was not sanctioned by Line6 Corporation. This software is distributed as freeware. There is no guarantee with this software. It has only been tested on one PC with a Midiman interface. You can submit comments and suggestions to gtlee@adelphia.net. 1) The VOX AC-15 amp model is listed as VOX AV-15. 2) When you are creating a user bank by dragging and dropping patch files into VBoard, the patch number is not incrementing. All patches load into the same location. The work around is to use the arrow key to increment the patch number each time you drop in a new file. 3) In the post effects schematic window, if you select a new routing style for an effect and the routing pull-down box is selected, when you use the arrow key to look at other patches, the routing type will also be changed. This gives un-predictable results. The work around is to make sure these pull-down boxes are not selected (highlighted) before using the arrow key. All of these will be fixed in version 3.1. Please feel free to give me more feedback on other bugs you have found. Several of you have sent me E-mails regarding VBoard 3.0. I have not responded to you because my outgoing E-mail service has been down for 7 days now. I will try to answer some of these questions below. 1) The bank file size must be 65,554 bytes in size or it will not load into VBoard. If you are having problems with this, please check the file size of the sysex file you have dumped from the Vetta. Some MIDI software utilities may add some extra bytes. I use SendSX and MIDIoX. 2) The MIDI device selection window will only show devices that are recognized by Windows. If you have a device that is not showing up there, see if it shows up in other programs such as MIDIoX.

Software - Tone Control for Line 6 Edit - Added Feature... 08-11-2004
What is ToneControl? ToneControl allows you to locate your Line 6 "tones" in a flexible way by navigating a dynamic tree structure. Please note that ToneControl is not a tone editor, nor does it store the actual tone file. Do not delete your tones after "adding" them to ToneControl . Also, back up your tones!
NOTE: The installer is not an .exe file but a .jar file. If you have Java installed properly, you can just double-click on the jar file and it will launch the installer. If that does not work try right-clicking on the jar file, choose the "Open With" menu and select "javaw". If that does not work for you either, I suggest you re-install the Java Runtime Environment. Software - Tweakwizard - Who is Tigerbill... 15-04-2004
Daniel Lemoine has made the Beta version of the Tweakwizard that we'll adress below, but it's also nice to see a face of the guy who made this new software and was also responsable for the FCB files for the different Line 6 amps and of course the Flextone Tuner Wizard. It's time to give you the face behind the posts and emails. So here he is...

Software - Tweakwizard - What is it?... 15-04-2004
What is Tweak Wizard ? TweakWizard is a powerful tool for tones comparison with a Line6 Flextone III. It's purpose is not to be a competitor for Line6Edit, but to complete it with useful features. The main one is the ability to have two tones in memory, and to swap each other for instant comparison. You can also set the Tuner frequency from 430 to 450 Hz. You can:
What do you need? The only thing you'll need is a computer and MIDI inrface with MIDI in & MIDI out cables connected. Of course you're Flextone III and you're ready to use the program. Help! Help! Don't worry, the most answers are in the helpfile that you can get here, if there are additional questions please adress these on the Line 6 Channel messageboard, open a topic with Tweakwizard help. When seen by others or TigerBill they'll come to your aid.
Here's what it looks like (please note this is a downsized screenshot, the actual program has larger dimensions on your desktop)

nd the operator says; Of course, just follow these guidelines...
Special features
You can make some fine corrections though by moving the Bass and Treble sliders then. But keep in mind they would be lost if you tweak the Channel Volume slider after that ( Think to the Delay & Mod knobs behaviour in '2nd function mode ' )
Note: Selecting a new tone, changing the Amp model , copying the Amp model or the EQ settings from a tone to another one will make the EQ correction switch Off.
You can select tones with the 'Select' buttons. This allows you to load the Edit Buffer too.
This new v3.0 feature allows a general reorganization of tones in the memory locations by Drag & Drop ( more powerful than a single swap one )
You can export the tones and settings list in a .txt file ( 'Flex_tones.txt') with the dedicated button. This file is written in the program location folder.
All numeric values are displayed in %, except thresholds ( dB), Gate decay & Delay time (ms), Mod speed (Hz), and Tap tempo (BPM). The export is fully parameterable
The behaviour is identical at the Amp settings one. You can export the settings of a single tone file, or select the tones or amp defaults within a bundle file.

Software - PODscope V 1.0 Beta for POD xt... 01-11-2003
Software gecreerd door GM Arts PodScope V1.0 Beta by GM ArtsUnderneath a software overview Nearly 10 years ago I wrote an application to allow Roland GP-100 users to view their settings in a simple text display. Now I've gone and done it all again, this time for PODxt users. PodScope is a Windows application that allows you to view your PODxt settings as text, print them, add notes, and share them with other users. Here's a screenshot ...
Installation
How To UseUse PodScope to get your settings via MIDI , or open a PODxt System Exclusive file (plenty of these on the net ;-). You can request and view any of the PODxt settings: current patch, a nominated patch, all channels, amp setups or FX setups. Use the dropdown list to select different patches, if you've loaded more than one. Click the Notes button to add notes to a patch (they're listed at the bottom of the view area) Save to save your settings & notes as text - there are 2 file type options:
Click Print to print your settings and notes (did I mention it's intuitive?) Click Options to customise your display options The Definition File
System RequirementsWindows 95 and above only PODxt only (but if someone would like to buy me a Vetta ... ;-) The supplied definition file supports PODxt version 1.04, although it will work with older versions, showing the version 1.04 model names (changing Rectifier to Threadplate is the only one I'm aware of). Testing & PlansThis is version 1.0 Beta, so at this early stage, I'm interested mainly in removing any bugs you may find. Please email me with the word "PodScope" in the subject. I expect to release version 1.0 soon, with no known bugs, and at least with its current functionality. I don't plan to develop this into a graphical editor or librarian. I am considering other features such as saving settings back into your POD over MIDI, and also a CSV file format so users can export text settings into a database. The first download needs to include many support files (some of which you probably already have on your PC anyway). Updates will be *much* smaller.

Editing is possible by adjusting the different knobs on the patchmanager or by turning the knobs on your amplifier.
