2003 was the beginning of Spider II, now in August 2004, the Spiders have spawned with the new Spider II 15 and Spider II 30 amps. The new Spider II 15 & Spider II 30 The Spider II 15 and 30 watt amps deliver Clean, Crunch, Metal and Insane amp tones, made from combining the sounds of some of the greatest amps in history and placing them in compact packages. They also feature 6 different effect types (up to 2 simultaneous) including Chorus/Flanger, Phaser, Tremolo, Tape Echo, and Sweep Echo and Reverb. These powerful amps deliver an unprecedented amount of independent amp channels in this price range and also feature a distortion boost & noise gate. Each of the four amp channel models come preset with tone and effects settings carefully crafted by expert Line 6 sound designers so guitarists can sound like their hero. "With the push of a single channel button, you get instant recall of preset tones that are essential for any rock guitarist," says De Furia. Channel recall also allows users to create and store their own customized amp and effects settings for each model. All effects can be easily tweaked and delay times can be adjusted using Tap Tempo. Plus there’s a handy CD/MP3 input jack, and a headphone out which also doubles as a line level recording output. Spider II 15 comes loaded with a custom 8” speaker and the Spider II 30 has a whopping 12” Celestion speaker. For ultimate control the Spider II 30 is compatible with the FBV2 and FBV4 foot controllers providing direct access for up to four customised patches.

Yous yur Toos As you may have seen from the pictures, the Spider II 30 has the abillity to attach footcontrollers. Two are made for it. The FBV2 for channel scroll and the FBV 4 for channel switching and delay time tap. |

The Amps*
When you select this Amp model and adjust the tone controls to get crisp, amazing clean tones, great warm jazz tones, and all the high-end shimmer you'll need with a generous amount of bottom end to boot. Then dial up a little chorus and delay to get the ultimate clean sound!
Plexi on Fire!. This Amp Model is based on a '68 Marshall Plexi 100 Watt with a few added extras; The combination of a Variac and the jumpered input channels created that infamous brown sound that will feel like flames are shooting out the input jack.
This Amp Model is based on the Mesa Dual Rectifier. For Spider II Line 6 made anhancements to this classic tone. The resulting Amp Model has a definitive modern flavor. It delivers a tight bottom end that's big, powerful. tight and fast. Great for Metal sounds
The Insane Amp Model provides with a hughe amount of gain distortion, while retaining tonal definition and character. Xtra? Hey, of course. The Tap Delay button, in addition setting the time of your echo effect lets you access a Distortion Boost and a built-in Noise Gate.
When activated it gives you the kind of extra 'dirt' that you'd expect from a Distortion pedal with the control set low and the output control set high. It boosts your guitar signal before it reaches the Amp Model, so that you hit the model harder and get a more distorted sound.
