Atomic Amps - First picture New Atomic family... 01-09-06 Atomic Amplifiers is excited to announce two additions to its Reactor Series line of guitar amplifiers - The Reactor 112-50 and Reactor 212. These products build on the success of the Company’s debut, the Reactor 112, by offering almost 3x more power for guitarists who demand extreme volume and headroom while maintaining or exceeding the sonic reputation earned by their predecessor. Well here' a first unofficial picture of the whole family together. Thanks to Atomic Amps and distribution partner for making it possible. On the right the Atomic Reactor 112 - 18 watt version, in the back the 212-50 watt and on the left front the new 112-50 watt. Geez that one looks nice with it's kinda voxy look.

Connecting your PODxt (Live) to 1 or 2 Atomics... Modelers, like the Line 6 POD series can be used in conjuction with the Atomic Reactor 112. The Atomic Reactor 112 is an amplifier "without an opinion". This means it's designed to not colour or equalize the signal coming from your modeler. However, it "de-digitizes" the signal to create that coveted analog sound. Atomic states that unlike other amps that use modeling front-ends, the Reactor 112 has real presence. The sound transcends the box that generates ot. It fills the room as only a well-enigineered tube amp can. You can plug your guitar in at the left top side
when you're using a modeler in the DS1 Docking Station. If you
are working with a floorboard modeler you can use the FX Return
on the back of the Atomic. An effects loop is an insertionpoint
between the amp's Preamp and Poweramp and normally used for effects.
Since the Atomic has no Preamp (that's your modeler), the FX Return
on the back is a direct connection to the Power Amp. Here's how to connect your PODxt Live or other floorboard modeler to one or two Atomics. From the PODxt Live connect your Left Mono Out to go into the FX Return on the back of the Atomic. If you rhave 2 Atomics, go into the FX return of each Atomic, the one being the Left channel out on your PODxt Live and the other the Right Channel out. When you are using 2 Atomics with the PODxt (not Live), you chain from FX Right Send from Atomic nr. 1 to FX Return of Atomic nr. 2. |
