Vettaville's PatchYard
The Patchyard is a plalce to gather your pre-selected patches. The custom tone website and the different websites that offer all kinds of patches are great places and a great reference if you are looking for a particular patch. As a result of the fast growing number of Line 6 gear users and the hughe databases of patches it's also time consuming to audition all these patches. And by the name you can't judge if it's a good tonepatch or not. To help you a bit Vettaville has and will select a couple of special selected files with a certain use and all made by "Tone Masters". If and when you download the pre-selected patches you have some good reference tone. This will not be a patchdatabase just a small number of quality patches made by skillfull Tone Creators. Each Section will have it's own info from the maker him/her-self. |
Andy Z's Vetta patches
(ION webmaster and writer of the Tone Zone articles) Andy has been using guitar gear in general for a long time both in Studio and live situiations and respected by fellow guitarists for his craftmanship on building tones. The tones here are made with and for Vetta and with the courtesy of Andy you can try these patches if you like. They're zipped up,
Underneath usefull information on how the patches are created and there use.
Hello fellow guitarists! Here are my patches. Most hi gain patches were done using the Variax on either the Les Paul Jr bridge, Les Paul bridge positions. Most of the clean to lite crunch were done using the Variax on the Strat models. A few on the Tele and one on the 335. Lately I've been using a real Telecaster Special (bascially a Fat Tele), but with a Little 59 in the bridge, so some of thet patches were slightly adjusted for that guitar. As a little
sidenote these patches are still a work in progress and maybe over
time will be further optimized. ThANKS TO AND COUURTESY OF ANDY Z |
Jaded Faith's Vetta patches... Down Tuned
Underneath are Jaded Faith's patches (a.k.a. Rob DeAntonio) Rob has been called a Tone Master on creating patches for Vetta and with the courtesy of Rob you can try these patches if you like. They're zipped up;
Underneath usefull information on how the patches are created and there use.
Hello all! First off,
I am truely honored that so many of you actually had an interest in
these. I hold all of you in such high regard and have learned alot
from my time chatting with you. It is a real compliment that you'll
have an These were all created on my Vetta HD through the Vetta 4x12 playing my PRS Custom 22. I set the output on the head to "4x12". I also should mention we detune 1/2 step and alot of the music we play is Dropped D a half step down (C#-G#-C#-F#-A#-D#). This effects some of my EQ choices. I use little to no effects, so if they aren't on for a given patch I probably didn't put anything in there. I create entirely seperate patches when effects are needed. They were all created and are used at gig volume. I use an SPL meter when making them and get a reading of 113-115db about 10 feet from the cab. I sit about 15 feet from it with long speaker cables so I don't go deaf. This approach really helps for the non-combo users. I hope you all enjoy these and find a use for at least one tone included in some shape or form. I'll be using some time off next month to create some newer tones to expand my options and try models I haven't given a fair nod to yet. I'll be glad to share those as well. Thanks
again, ThANKS TO AND COUURTESY OF ROB DEANTONIO |

AZ's POD xt 2.0 patches ...
Andy Z, has created 97 patches that he created during the beta testig of POD xt 2.0 and after. The request for 'new 2.0' quality patches is building since the realease of the update of POD xt this week. A note on the patches from Andy: "It's fair to add that some of the patches I had belonged to a few others that I had in my banks. Philbert sent me a bunch during beta that I started to sightly tweak for my effects. Matt from PharoahAmps sent me a Kustom patch I tweaked from 1.05 to 2.0 and their may be one or two more. Also the patches that I ended up getting as defaults in the model packs are in their original form with my effects and levels on them." For those you don't know Andy (if that's even possible) here are some of the things he does for us and a living (place them in order yourself)
These patches will be placed at the patch database (ION) as individual patches shortly and at the Patchyard here at Vettaville (zipped up). Source AND COURTESY: ANDY Z; INSTITUTE OF NOISE |
