Monkey Business - New Drivers V 3.3.3.9 available... 02-10-07
Well it's Monkey time again. A new version V1.19 is available, it's prepared for POD X3 series Toneport GX and Toneport UX8. These drivers are developed for use with the new POD X3 series installed
by the GearBox 3.10 Installer and are recommended for use with all Line
6 USB-equipped devices, with the exception of the Variax Workbench USB

Facial Controlled POD... 23-09-05
Guitarists: have you ever controlled your POD with your face? This work presents a system which uses the output from face-tracking and gesture recognition software to drive a parameterized guitar effects synthesizer in real-time. This work takes advantage of improvements in real-time face tracking and gesture recognition to use your face in the control of effect parameters and preset selection. Although the face is the most expressive and malleable part of the body, until now the face has been a largely unused effector in music. This project explores the use of the face for both gestural and continuous control of musical effects. In affording continuous control, the system replaces existing continuous input devices. The gestural/conversational control feature is a new method of interacting with an Line 6 POD.

License keys transfers are Live!!... 13-09-05
License key transfers are now live. Just log in to your line6.com account and you'll notice two new items in the box on the left - "License Keys" and "Transfer License Keys". "License Keys" gives you a list of all your license keys and where they are currently residing. "Transfer License Keys" gives instructions. There is no limitation on how many times you can transfer licenses. If you want, you could just bouncing a license back and forth between two units as much as you like.

Variax Registration while using the monkey... 10-08-05
When you are updating your Variax through the Monkey app. As small error will come up while trying to get your Variax registration done. The registration confirmation error on Variax family members has been around for a while. If you've registered, it's confirmable independently through "My Account". It's only when
the Monkey goes to check your status that the wrong value is returned.
Line 6 willl get fixed at some point, so please click "remind me
later" in the mean time and one day it just won't appear. source:

Last Call to update your AX2 amp... 14-07-05
Over two years ago, they stopped making the 512k EPROM that's used in the AxSys212/AX2 and they've been generally unavailable. Line 6 managed to find a small amount of them after extensive searching, so they're putting out a last call. If you haven't updated your AX2, this is positively your last chance. When these chips are gone, there will be no more. If you want one, you need to either use the FAQTRAQ knowledge base on the Line 6 site to request one, or call Line 6 Support at 001-818-575-3600. Note: Line 6 does not have AX2 overlays or keypads available, so it's not possible to do AxSys > AX2 upgrade kits. source:
